My little one had the same problem. It took over a year to get a good solution to the problem. Raley's condition is called seborrhea oleosa (without the dandruff). He required a bath every other day until about 6 months ago. I am now using a shampoo specifically for his condition.

I alternate the use of it with Yorkie Splash and Shine. He is doing so much better these days. I bathe him once a week instead of 3 times a week. Speak to your vet about your little one. If you notice a foul odor it could also be yeast. Your vet can prescribe a shampoo that will help with that. Before we got Raley's condition under control he would get yeast infections as well as bacterial infections. He also has allergies and is on immunotherapy for that now so we hope this is all in the past!
Good luck! Just remember, high quality food and a talk/visit to the vet will help a lot!
