 Thyroid Surgery
Hi,
I had thyroid surgery 12 years ago and have been on synthroid since that time. The biggest problem that I had with the surgery was the fatigue afterwards. I thought I would never get my energy back. I eventually did but I really was draggy for a long time. Since then the only problem has been getting my dosage right. I think mine has been changed almost every six months. It is either too low or too high. Yuck. The surgery in itself wasnt any worse than most surgeries. Good luck.
