Be strong Patti, it is a long road to recovery but you can do it and you will find it gets easier everyday.
Having lost both parents at a very young age I can tell you the best advice someone gave me is "do whatever you think feels right and respects the person you lost".
I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am thankful you have good friends to help you with this journey along with your cute little furbabies.
