HERE IS MY QUESTION: I am feeding Orijen, and have been very pleased with the quality of this food. Is it OK to supplement an occasional raw food (to be given let's say once a week as a special treat) in addition to feeding Orijen as his main source of protein? |
This is perfectly fine. Toki gets a raw meal for breakfast and grain-free kibble for dinner. I even have mixed kibble and raw together in the same meal with zero problems (some don't think you should mix them because of different digestion rates but I haven't seen any evidence that this creates problems by mixing the 2).
