Patti, you are still so much in my thoughts and prayers. I know anniversaries of all kinds are so hard after losing a loved one. Holidays, too. I always hope and pray that you are eating, sleeping, feeling safe at night and that God will comfort you when you aren't.
As a sister of a wonderful woman who went blind at middle age and sees the wreck that blindness can make of a what was a rich and full, artistic life, the donating of Ken's eyes is particularly wonderful to me. What a beautiful thing you and Ken did in lovingly providing one of the best gifts there is - the gift of sight. If the transplants are successful, those women could have absolutely new leases on life!
I continue to hold you up in prayer. God bless you.
