 Saturday was one month since Ken's passing
Saturday was an especially hard day for me as it was one month since I lost Ken. But one bright spot, in Saturday's mail I received a letter from the Illinois Eye Bank. They sent a nice letter thanking me for the compassionate and generous act of donating Ken's eyes. They said because of the donation a second chance for sight was given to a Monroe,Michigan woman and a Troy, Michigan woman. SO that made the day a little easier.
I want to thank everyone one again for all the prayers, personal notes, thoughts and cards. You all made each day a little easier during Ken's battle. I am once again asking for prayers for strength for me as I grieve his loss. It is the hardest thing I have ever faced. |
