Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts for Teddy over the past week. He sends yorkie kisses to each and every one of you.

I have been doing some research and what I am finding is that this zygomatic mucocele problem can recur. So even if this spontaneously resolves, there is a chance it will come back. In that case, surgery will be needed.

I'm honestly not sure about the surgery itself. It is a risky undertaking. I am not sure that I want to put Teddy through this. I keep feeling that maybe putting him to sleep quietly and peacefully is a better way to go. As soon as I think that, I think about how he scurries over when he hears the cookie jar open or the jingle of his harness and leash. I think about those things and I think it is not his time.

We will cross these bridges when we get there. For now, I will close this thread and let things lie where they may.
