I agree with the ladies above! One thing though you said you were going to be out of a job for a few months not that it's any of my business about your finances but I know some people think they are buying a healthy yorkie/pup and then costly vet bills come right after!! If you do get one try to get papers, shot records, vet checked, a phone number to the vet so you can call yourself if you feel the need. It cost a lot to get the pup/dog & get them all set up but after that it's just restocking food, puppy pads, ect! So just think about the expense of a pup/dog & if he/she got sick or was already sick. Just a thought!
