 Gabby's vet visit
I took Gabby to the vet today. He told me that she has been suffering from allergies for quite some time and put her on some oral meds for it. Her cataracts are worse than we thought. In fact we didn't even realize she had two. He doesn't feel like the eye drops would do her any good, and I don't see how we could possibly afford the surgery. I almost cried right there in the vet's office. I pray that she will not lose her eyesight all together. I can tell it affects her vision sometimes, but other times she seems to see just fine. They were suprised that she had adjusted so well, at her age, changing homes. She let them see who her favorite person is. When they upset her "invading her" with tests, and when it thundered, the tech had to give her to me to calm her. The tech did a great job with her, but there's nobody like mama.
Going back in Sept for vaccines and to see how the med is working. |
