Tiffany - it will be ok. I know you are in shock now and probably in tears as I was too. There is just nothing worse than the vet finding bad news towards your fur baby. I about passed out when I heard the news.

Schatzie was diagnosed with Legges Perthes and had surgery in January I believe it was, (my memory is slipping, LOL). She is using all four legs now as normal. She had surgery on her left rear leg. Her hair grows slow so as of now it's only about a half an inch long after being shaved. (yep, grows REAL slow)...But that is nothing major as hair is only cosmetic.

Her surgery was a success, and Riley's will be also. Riley will be up and around in no time. Schatzie was 8 months old when diagnosed. Later in her life she could be arthritic (sp) but should be just fine. I could have used her health guarantee and received a refund but no way, I was in love with her. Her surgery was about $450.00

Just wanted to give you some positivie news towards a negative situation.

Keep me posted on how the surgery goes.

Schatzie sends hugs to Riley !!
