I would try switching Bentley's food...Purina's formulas aren't very good...full of fillers like corn and soy and by-products that are not good for dogs. I'd probably try something with limited ingredients for sensitive pets. I like grain-free if your pup will tolerate it but having something like oats/barley/millet would be just fine.
Acana has some very good formulas with not too many ingredients. Something from their singles line like the Duck and Pear or Lamb and Apple formulas might be worth looking into...they have only a single protein source and a single grain source.
Did your vet not suggest any type of diet aside from the beef and rice? |
