Ok, I read all (more or less :P) the potty training thread here, and I know you are supposed to say No when you see him trying to go where you don't want them to, then pick him up and put him on the pad to do it there. And then praise him a lot if he does it there. And repeat until he figures it out what you want.

The problem I have is that I can't seem to figure out when he wants to go. Especially with the pee. He has the same face and body posture when he just sits or when he pees. He is walking, stops for 2 seconds and when he moves again the little puddle is there. I tried putting a little of the pee on a pad, I tried spraying a pad with that spray that theoretically tells them "here are you supposed to go", I tried putting him on a pad several times after he wakes up...

He is with us only for a day, but he is a smart dog and I am sure he would understand what i want, I just have to figure out how to communicate it to him at the right moment, which I seem to fail on doing...
