With Gracie it depends on what she wants. If she wants to play she may drop the ball at my feet or on the keyboard of the laptop. If that doesn't work I will get a few little quiet barks until I stop and pay attention. If I am late getting her supper she does not have much patience with me. She will give me a good bark and if that doesn't work she will stand and bark until I pay attention! It's not hard to figure out what Gracie wants. She is not very subtle about things.
