I'm almost positive Jackson got stung by a bee yesterday. We were walking in the house and I saw one on the porch and all the sudden we got inside and he was freaking out, rubbing his face against the floor and batting/swinging at his face and almost trying to bite at his own face. It only lasted about 40 seconds and then he shook his head and was done. But I had seen the stupid bee and I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Oh no! Poor Jackson. I assume he didn't develop any bumps. I'm glad he didn't have a reaction.
Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Teddy's giant bump is almost completely gone today. Yay! My bet is on spider bite. The spiders are terrible this year. I doubt Teddy was stung outside because he hasn't been more than 4' away from me on the leash outdoors and I think he would have yelped. It's possible that a wasp or bee got in the house, but Teddy is never alone in the house either.
