Looks like a mole or could be a wart but I agree totally with Yorkiemom1 that it should be excised/biopsied ASAP. Dog moles are usually small round dark, symmetrical, even spots that are usually on the dog's underside and not thick as that one. Nothing I know to do except wait for the vet appt. As far as looks, it appears to look like a wart.
