Yorkies started out bigger then what they are now so generally its a throw back unless non standard yorkies where breed. The only real way to know how big a yorkie is going to be is get an adult that is already grown. I hope this doesn't offend anyone but I wish yorkies were the size they originated at I love my 16 pounder!
