I have been in rescue long enough and seen enough problems for me to feel very comfortable saying that Joli is not going to live well with other pups. I am not one to categorize a pup easily....aggressive pups do not frighten me. I have taken them into my home and they have done well...BUT I draw the line with a pup that latches on to do harm...and does not let go. Not only are the other pups stressed...but so is the aggressive one. We want what is best for Joli and I believe a home without other pups is that.
As for YHR's guidelines...we don't have anything etched in stone. Our goal is to assess the needs of our foster pups and do what we think is best for them. We expose them to as much as we can and evaluate them and then do our best with their interests in mind. |
