I think I found the main reason he is having trouble potty training, When I first trained him I tought him to bark at the door and he would do it sometimes but I think it's hard for him to remember so I would ignore when he just stands at the door, I thought it wouldn't be good to let him out when he just stands there because later I wouldn't hear him.
So he was more likely to potty in the house bc he knew I wouldn't take him out.
But now I'm taking him out even when I see him standing there and he's been going to the door all by himself, he hasn't had an accident for a while.
So now I just have to make sure to always see him at the door, I guess it's better for him to go to the door quietly then the way i've been doing it.
