Our Brody is trained to go on the wee wee pad, we believe he knows right from wrong, but he continuously is pooing in the middle of the apartment or around the pad and not in his area. He often does the No. 1 on his pad and in the correct place, but poos wherever he likes.

He is 4 years old and has been doing this for years now, but we're getting very upset with this.

Any suggestions on how we can re-train him? What went wrong the first time? What we can do? He is often doing the poo when 1) we're not home and 2) at night

Please help with anything here
