Well, Wednesday I had an issue.

The leash wrapped around the spinning mechanism in the machine and we cannot get it out. I broke the leash trying to get it out, so we had to go buy a new one. DH and I spent a large portion of yesterday trying to figure out how to take the mechanism apart in the hopes of remedying the situation. No luck. My dad is coming over today to see if he can help us. Hopefully we will be able to figure this out without having to spend lots of $$ on a repairman or a new washing machine. This one is only 5 years old!

Lesson learned. I will not be putting Roxie's leashes in the washing machine again, unless maybe I tie them up in a pillow case or something.
Yes put them in a pillow case and tie the opening so they can't come out. That works well for harnesses leashes or anything with long ties. I prefer doing that with my aprons as well.
