Animal Smiley 019 Trouble reading text after new video card

Hello all!

Opinions and suggestions please.

I've just had to replace my Nvidia graphics card because the fan
went "ca-poot".

Since the reinstall, I can NOT get the fonts to display as nice as they had before.

I tweak the flatscreen monitor's settings. XP's font and resolution settings.
It's all just a little too soft or too sharp.

FYI - tweaking for too long can totally mess up your eyes so that absolutely nothing looks good anymore, heh.

I have an Alienware computer (which is sold to gamers to those of you who don't know, because it can handle the stress of high graphics).

Since it's still under warranty, they replaced the video card with a recently released one.

But, with all this high quality stuff you'd think that this wouldn't be an issue. The fonts limit my time with doing anything text based on the PC.

I'll go ahead and make an appointment to get my eyes checked, just to make sure it's not me.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to deal with it?
Thanks in advance

(Hi all. This is Bodhi. Don't help mom. She'll just spend more time on YT again instead of gazing into my eyes and telling me what a sweet boy I am.)
