i know with my shih tzu it was caused from her diet.
i used to feed her a lesser quality diet containing grains and i had to
take her to the vet every month to have her anal glands expressed.
since i switched her to a high quality grain free diet and not extra treats
she has no problems with her anal glands for the past few months.
i am sure diet does not cure it for every dog but it worked for mine |
