That is absolutely awful. You definitely have a BIG complaint. I am so sorry this happened to you on top of the already tragic decision of letting your dog go. I would start with the vet and work from there. My heart goes out to you. I held my two golden retrievers through those last minutes and I know how miserable you felt. I am sending you a hug.
