One of the things I love best is taking Lola places, and she loves it because everyone makes a fuss over her, LOL just look at some of my albums here and you will see that. Your dog is still young so now is the time to start doing it. If you keep the dog couped up she will be unhappy and grow up weird, if you have hangups and you don't take her places she will develop some of them as well, do you want that? Also you should take her for walks not just in the driveway. However as others have said you need to watch her and take precautions. Here are a few suggestions, first of course make sure she has all her shots. Have a secure harness and when around other dogs use a non retractable leash that's not to long. Get a structured carrying case with good ventilation and a lot of openings, that can be used as a travel crate. Put her in it for naps, to get away from unwanted dog advances and prying little kids fingers and hands, get her used to it at home first.
Buy a pet stroller, this will come in handy like the carrying case and you can get her up off the floor but still near you, I have used it in my home, on my deck, in stores, at art fairs etc. Lola seems to like being wheeled places even though she likes walking. Start out going to places for short visits, especially pet stores. You also need to get your dog used to you going out on your own, eventually you should be able to leave your dog for at least 6 hours, maybe longer and you need to start now but in short spurts, give her a treat as you go out. Oh well hopefully I gave you some ideas.
