Frontline does not work in our area. In fact, although the vets around here still sell it, they will admit that it doesn't seem to be effective anymore. Most everyone I know uses Comfortis flea pills or Vectra. Another thing you can try that works well is food grade diatomaceous earth. You can sprinkle it in your yard, under the cushions on your furniture, beds, carpet, etc....You have to remember to get the FOOD grade kind. We had a yorkie that we dog sat last week that had a ton of fleas. We put the DE out around the house and bathed him. It took care of the problem. Also, we have a large outside dog. My husband moved his dog house to another place in our yard the other day. When he did he came in and told me to look at his pants legs. He was covered in fleas up to his knees. He went outside and put DE out. Guess what? No more fleas in the yard!
