My boys are 3+ years old, and I still struggle with this one. I want them to be socialized, but I also want to keep them safe.
You have to use your best judgement relative to other dogs and the people holding the leash. If I don't know the dogs, especially larger dogs, I keep walking. When we do meet up with other dogs, especially larger dogs, I stay alert to body language.
