No yeah 3-5 is right in the standard, I'm just always curious why people specify weights.

One lady answered because she can only lift up to 4 pounds and needed a yorkie 3-4 pounds so she could life it if needed.

You know me I'm just freaking nosy!

Beside I'm naughty I only want a Yorkie if it's over 10 pounds-with kids and other dogs here (12-21 pounds) we want all those out of standard too large guys.

I was also asking because as we all know a breeder can't guarantee size in pups so maybe if there's a really specific reason in the sizing, an older grown pup or dog should be suggested to the OP to guarantee size.
