Joe usually just barks when someone knocks at the door, or when he hears the mail slot (especially when we get our newspaper at 4:30-ish in the morning
) He'll also bark when we get him really worked up when we play with him, especially if it's a chase game or when he's playing with his giant ball. But other than that, he's pretty quiet and laid back most of the time
