Yes, I agree the first few days are the worst. Kacee had a fentanyl patch on her leg. After I removed the patch, then I started giving her the tramadol. She did sleep a lot while taking it. You could see the difference in how much she slept while taking it and after we quit giving it to her. It's good that they sleep more while recuperating. Their little bodies need the rest so they can heal.
