Default Advice Please...

My little male yorkie, Blue, is about 9 months old. Last Saturday, we took him to a friend's house where he played with a female yorkie/poodle. They had a great time and are about the same age.

Since then though, he's been very calm, almost to the point where he was really looking down and I started to get concerned.

This morning though, he woke up and instead of running to me and my husband to say good morning, he's just been acting really strange, almost depressed looking, tail between his legs and acting scared, which is so not like him. He plays if I throw him his toys, but not like usual and not for very long. He sort of whimpers, but he's not in any sort of pain that I can see, since he can still run, jump and twirl if prompted... but this is a major change in behavior, since he's so happy and jumpy in the morning. He is our bundle of joy and we don't know what's wrong... can anyone tell me if they have experience with something similar? Could it have anything to do with him missing the other dog? Or perhaps, does it have to do with him growing into more of an adult dog (TMI, but his balls just dropped...). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
