I would say hello, ask how she is and let her set the tone from there. If she asks about the doggy I would tell her how well she was doing and thank her for letting us have her. Same with pictures if she asks, I'd open my phone and share. I would not take the baby to see her. I have worked with fosters for years. Some people really love their Yorkie and give them up so they can have a better life (often because they can not afford to provide needed care) And some people feel like it was a mistake to get a dog and it is better to forget about it. You will know which kind she is by saying hello. The rest is up to her.
