It sounds like she has associated something bad with the grass. Maybe she lay down in it and got stung by ants or bitten by something. Or a little stick poked her & scared her. It sounds like something happened when she was in the grass that had her fearful of it, thinking if she goes back in it she might get hurt or scared like that again. Unless she was really traumatized, she will likely put it behind her after a time. How is she doing with the grass now?
