I've used WEN for 3 years now and will never go back to shampoo. I used to highlight my hair, after years of that and normal lathering shampoos, my natural color had been stripped. After using WEN my hair has gone back to it's natural darker color, (much richer looking) is also very soft (like it was 20 years ago).
I did read Suave Rosemary conditioner will work the same so I did try it in an attempt to avoid the more expensive WEN. The Suave is okay but isn't near the thick consistency as WEN. I don't think the results were quite as good either. I thought about mixing the Suave with another thicker/creamier conditioner, but haven't as yet. I haven't tried the Loreal version.
I buy the gallon of WEN through QVC , it does last me over a year, as I wash my hair only 2-3 times per week and it's not long (right at shoulder length). So, even though it is more expensive initially, it really doesn't cost me more than another salon brand (it's actually cheaper).
