Today I was talking with Patti (the Patti that just lost Ken) and her nephew and his girlfriend were helping her at the house this morning to go through some of Ken's things. They then were heading out to get some lunch and we were talking and all of a sudden I hear Patti say, "Oh my God," and then I heard this loud crash and the phone went dead. Scared the living daylights out of me and I called back and no answer. It seemed like forever before she finally called me back and they'd been in a car accident. She was so upset and her nephews car was new...he'd only had it 3 weeks. The lady that hit them, first took off, but then came back and she couldn't talk very good English. The important thing is that they weren't injured, but Patti feels so sick because they were helping her and then this happened. The car is messed up bad and has to be towed. Poor Patti...she probably could use some uplifting thoughts from her YT family! I'm so thankful they weren't hurt!
