 when will the empty feeling go away
I lost my 14yr old Toby 1 mth ago. He was my companion thru so much of my life, when I lost my Dad, when my daughter got married and had 2 kids and 12 yrs later got divorced, lost my BF. He has been my true companion always happy to see me and always by my side. I have been out looking at some that need rehoming and some puppies, but nothing "clicks", I dont feel any connection, they just seem like dogs....
So I guess all we can do is take it one day at a time and be with the grief and know in time that it will hurt less and maybe even another one will come into our life. I never expected this! I share your grief. MJ |
