And I'm sorry, I strongly disagree in regards to pets being even remotely comparable to our human family members. I have lost pets in the past and I grieved. It hurt for a while but the pain diminished and faded. I lost my mom to cancer in August. I don't ever foresee overcoming that. The pain has not subsided and I would hate to have someone compare that grief of a loved parent, sibling, child, etc to the loss of a pet. The only thing that the Bible says about caring for animals is that we are responsible for them. There is no place that states that they are less than us. Morally if we are responsible for their well being and take them on as a member of our family then we are to care for their needs as we would anyone in need. A life is a life.
I am sorry that there were some whos offended you,they members here are very passionate about pups and their care. If you do decide to stay around you will find that many members are trainers,breeder for many years as well as showing in the ring,vet techs that know what they are talking about and people that run rescues and foster yorkies. There is alot of good advice to be had here.
I can not in my wildest dreams imagine anyone from this forum threatening anyone. There are many trolls out there that just hang out on forums and use the information to harm others. I hope that you and your family will feel safe and am very sorry that there is someone out there that would state that they wanted to harm you.
