If this were an emergency situation where she was inactive, unresponsive, or otherwise acting abnormally I would make it work. But this puppy is only having issues with diarrhea. This would hardly be a situation that would require inconveniencing friends and family to have someone watch the children and/or take them out of our home to an emergency vet 30 miles away.
WOW REALLY !!!! Why did you get this puppy ??? it IS a living being totally dependant on YOU & too young to be away from it's mother. FYI I was a vet tech for many yrs & diarrhea in a pup this young can & often is life threatening so PLEASE don't pull the comparison card here. No the pup is not human but YOU are responsible for it's wellbeing so please do the rite thing & get this poor helpless pup to the vet ASAP, OR return it to the breeder so it can find a home where someone WILL properly care for it. Because regardless of your opinion it's NOT just a dog, it's a living , feeling being & YOU ARE responsible for it.
