I agree with your thoughts to an extent. If it was a case of simple diarrhea for a pup over 10 months old. I personally would wait to take the pup to the vet the next day, while monitoring their water intake all night. But, you said it was bloody diarrhea for a 7 week old yorkie. They can dehydrate quickly.

You came here for advice, and advice was given. Its not always what you expect. At the end of the day, whatever happens to this pup is entirely up to you.
