I've been using Apple computers for upwards of 10 years. I've never ran virus protection. Never had a virus. Never had a hard drive crash and never had to reformat. It just.... well... works. I've done all the above as well. Except for I have a PC and have never had a problem. My brothers and I are gamers and engineers. I'm not an engineer.... Yet! All the programs we run are PC only. I hear Macs are great for video editing.
All PC's at work are working fine today. Wel... As well as can be expected for our outdated agency. All is well and we didn't do anything to check for the malware.
