No, you aren't the only one.
Just one bite of any one of those fatty meats or even the greasy cheese could trigger serious issues. I wouldn't panic, but there is a chance that this could be problematic. Too late to induce vomiting..besides the vet did not recommend it. So all you can do is wait it out.
