Ours accepts any food that is unopened without question. I also found out they accept opened shampoo and conditioner. I had tons of shampoo and conditioner that for one reason or another didn't like and didn't know what to do with. The shelter gladly accepted the opened bottles of shampoo and conditioner. It made my happy to think a shelter dog was getting pampered with a bath from the shampoo I didn't want and was just sitting on the shelf.
