My understanding was that the shelter is in partnership with Hill's Science Diet so all of the dogs in the shelter eat that but the shelter supplies their foster homes with the donated foods. I'm just glad that this food is going to get used! |

The shelter here once accepted an opened bag of kibbles from me. It was at one of their adoption drives at Petco. Not sure if they used it or not, since it had been opened and a tiny amount used, (mine wouldn't eat it)but I was also glad to not throw it away and waste it
