I can only speak to the Blue Buffalo but the stools are great for each dog. Formed and firm but not too firm. I know some people's dogs have had loose stools on the BB because it is too rich or they just don't tolerate it well but this has not been my experience between my pup, my sister's yorkie, and my parents' beagle.
