Nancy, the last time Choco was found in our parking lot, I called all of the vet offices in town just in case his owners were their clients and to see if anyone was looking for him.
We have the business accounts for all three vet offices in our small town and one of the vet techs happened to come into our office and she recognized Choco. She then went to his owners house and told him we had him. I should have known when the lady came after him the first time and said I am here after my crazy dog..that they do not consider him a member of their family like we all do.
It was sad today..all of my co workers noticed that Choco wanted to stay here with me, he did not want to go with his owner
He is such a sweet little guy and very loving, I just do not understand his owners not caring about him enough to protect him.
I still cannot get over the fact that they let him out this time ,to chase a squirrel or outside by himself period!!!
