LOL. I wonder if it would work, or they would just say, well if you are away for the weekend, maybe we can use the pool?
I agree it is plain rude! I wonder why this generation(s), what kind of kindness and or at least good manners upbringing did they have?
One of my BF, has a wonderful city home, and country property. We are always invited in the summertime for at least one weekend. We show up with our car full; I usually call on the Wednesday asking what I can bring up from the city; then I bring wine for us to drink, and some bottles planned to leave behind, food (some that she asked for), and some extras, other fluids that we like to drink; fresh berries, enough corn on the cob for a good corn roast, plus our own towels, our dog crates etc. She is kind enough to let our dogs come! So all grooming stuff for the dogs. Each dog is totally dried out before I let them into the house, and groomed/brushed out on the dock. Usually on Sunday morning I ask if I can throw in a load of towels for her. She has a whole spa/bath-house with an onsite laundry room. We also take the sheets and pillowcases off the bed, and wash and dry and fold them. Her hubby has warmed up (over time to our big boy), he now feels really comfy, to leave the gals up north, when he goes back to the city. He is muttering to Susan, you know we should get one of these guard dogs. Susan goes, perish the idea

I know who will be training them, and grooming et al; I've seen Gail. We are going to rely on our burglar alarm system!
I don't understand where all the manners went these days?
