Oh....My.....Word!!...For a second I thought I wrote this!.....We had this same issue and it lasted for about five summers. It was getting so bad I didn't want to open the pool. These last three years has been much better. Most of the intruders have latched on to someone else and/or moved on.

It would start off with a call from one of the intruders. If we saw who it was on the caller ID we wouldn't answer the phone. You would think problem solved.... WRONG!....The next thing we would here is their car pulling in. Out they would all unload with swimming attire and NO towels! These morons know their coming to swim yet NO towel!!.....I've lost many towels to this stupidity.

They would linger till dinner so the grill was fired up. I ended up doing ALL the cooking, cleaning, and putting the food away. We have also had the broken pool items, wet floors, and the ever lingering leaches. So were out food, drinks, and towels and we didn't invite one of them....nice.....

I think having a pool is way overrated. Between the users, the daily care of the pool as in putting in chemicals, checking chemicals, sweeping backwashing, debugging and running the pool pump even on days we don't get in it sometimes I wonder why we just don't fill in this hole in the ground.....
