If yours isn't spitting up foam/bile, vomiting, refusing water, having gas, loud tummy sounds or funky looking stools, bowing/stretching abnormally, etc., maybe he is a picky eater who loves variety. Have you tried soaking & microwaving the food to see if he will eat it that way, after it's cooled? Even when Tibbe was ill I got him to eat when I cooked his food this way.

Tibbe does just have days though where he doesn't eat much at all. Others he eats 3 times a day! He definitely changed once he began having his problems with his tummy and his patterns of eating are different now.
He's not vomiting, but once he did with the Prilosec the Vet wants him to take. He's never had any gas, loud tummy sounds, etc. Now and then he sneezes, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The Vet suggested this a long time ago. To put down a variety of food and see which one he likes. I did this recently and pretty much ate all of the small amounts of food. But when I put one type in his bowl, he sniffs and walks away. I have put a variety of different items on his dry food. For a while, he'll scarf it down. After a while, he'll pick thru it and leave the dry.

Good news, he finally decided to eat the Science Diet w/d mixed with his old dry.....and he ate all Doesn't mean that he will do this tomorrow. Every day is different and I have no idea what to expect.
