I'm not leaving him out while we aren't home. He likes to chew, and he'll chew on baseboards. They have washable pads at WalMart, I believe. I actually forgot about that until you meantioned it. I may go get some. I think I'm gonna go with the smaller kennel for while we aren't home, that's what everyone I've talked to has suggested.
