Rhonda.. I would say Hello, tell her How mikki is.. maybe share pictures.
I would not take Mikki because it could be very painful for the girl and for Mikki. We don't really know what is in the girls heart, she tried to do what was best by rehoming Mikki to you. If it is painful for her it would be nice to let her know it was a good thing to rehome her but not rub salt into the wounds.
