Ya know what...I shouldn't even be answering this thread! I think I am the worlds worst potty training mommy!! Having said that, I would normally have about 3 pee pads out at one time and have the doors closed to any other rooms (yes, even as adults). I would have one in the living room, one near the dining room and one in between. I do this because all of these rooms are just one big open area. All 3 pads would always get used, so I just kept putting 3 out. I always pick them up if I'm expecting company...LOL. It's my best kept secret
